Feel-Good Reality TV

No, it’s not Jersey Shore or The Real Housewives. You won’t see Snookie, The Situation, or a Real Housewife (who may not even be a housewife!). But what you will see is a show that tugs at your heartstrings and that you can feel good about watching with your family. Co-hosted by Laila Ali, Ethan Zohn, and Jenna Morasca, Everyday Health’s brand new TV series profiles ordinary people who have overcome extraordinary obstacles and ‘pay it forward’ by helping and inspiring others to lead healthier, happier lives.

Episode 5 airs on Saturday, October 1st on ABC (check local listings). It features Katie Stagliano, an inspirational 13-year-old girl who founded Katie’s Krops, a movement designed to get kids to grow food and feed those who are less fortunate in their communities. The surprise guest is my RD pal, the wonderful Ellie Krieger, New York Times bestselling author and registered dietitian, who lends her culinary and nutritional expertise.

Everyday Health is sure to inspire and motivate you to take action to better your health and that of those around you–to ‘pay it forward’ so we can all thrive! So what are you waiting for? Go set your DVR. You can find more details about the show, recap episodes, and more if you click here.

Do you love the show? I’d love to hear your thoughts….
